Carly Marco

Carly Marco, Teacher Pledge program manager, began her work with the Teacher Education Center in March 2020. As Teacher Pledge program manager, Carly provides individualized support to prospective and current teacher education students and alumni, manages program operations and data, and shares the good news of the Teacher Pledge with everyone she meets. Prior to this role, Carly managed Wisconsin-based reproductive, sexual, and adolescent health programs. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Gender and Women’s Studies, with a certificate in LGBT Studies, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. Carly is a proud Northsider who loves exploring Madison’s green spaces with her son and husband, gardening, and reading a good library book. A lifelong Wisconsinite, Carly is committed to helping make the Wisconsin Idea a reality for everyone in the state.
